The Democrats took the opportunity of a stock market crash to impose the Great Depression on America. The Democrats see COVID-19 as another opportunity to impose crush the American spirit and impose fascistic, if not communist government on America. FDR and the Democrats ran a fear and hate campaign after the Stock market crash to bamboozle the America into imposing the New Deal on America, crushing enterprise and vastly expanding and centralizing government power. They then used the catastrophic effects of programs such as the NRA to justify more oppression. These policies first turned a recession into a depression and then turned that into a Great Depression.
We are seeing a repeat of that same pattern. Another virus comes to America from Asia, namely China. The initial data doesn’t show a virulent virus as much as a unprepared and incompetent public-health industrial complex. This failure is then used to impose unprecedented lock downs which then crush our liberty and economic output. Further Congress uses the virus to pass multi-trillion dollar stimulus bills despite having neither the funds nor Constitutional authority further distorting economic spending and hobblling our ability to adapt economically.
The more optimistic scenario is that this election is a repeat of 1932 and, if the Democrats win, will usher in another Great Depression. Remember, too, that the Great Depression was only ended by a World War. The less optimistic scenario is that Joe Biden is another Paul von Hindenberg.
