Deciding these cases on first amendment grounds is fine as far as it goes and may assuage the left for awhile, but we will need to confront the tyranny of “anti-racist” legislation and the zeal of the left. All purchases of goods and services are contracts and contracts are voluntary by definition. No government ever has the authority to interfere in legitimate contracts involving goods and services beyond the enforcement of the contract, even for so- called public accommodations. No government ever has the authority to coerce someone into a contract once coercion is involved is no longer a contract.
